support for families

I'd like to finally make the POSEZ project a reality – it already works successfully in several towns in the Central Bohemian Region. It's a place where seniors and people with disabilities can turn for information, advice or help, but also meet others, learn and take part in various activities. The advantage is that the project doesn't rest entirely on the town's shoulders. The Central Bohemian Region contributes to its operation through a subsidy, and the town only pays a set co-financing share. What's more, in recent years the region has increased its support and reduced the towns' share. I think Kutná Hora would need a place like that too.

02

social services

In social services, I want us to respond better to how the age structure of Kutná Hora's population is going to change. So we'll monitor population trends and prepare well in advance for how many people will need help and care in the future. In cooperation with the Central Bohemian Region and MPSV, I want to plan the necessary capacity of residential services in good time. But even more important to me is strongly supporting home-based care, which lets people stay at home as long as possible and receive the help they need right in their natural environment. At the same time, this can prevent hospitals from being unnecessarily overloaded and free up their capacity for patients who really need acute and urgent healthcare.

03

a city that listens to people

Kutná Hora has a number of associations that do an enormous amount of work, often voluntarily and without any expectation of reward. So I want to give them proper facilities where they can have their headquarters, meet regularly and carry out their projects and activities. We'll meet together with representatives of the individual associations and look for a solution and a way of running this place that suits both them and the town. I believe that supporting people who devote their time and energy to others is an investment in the life of all of Kutná Hora.

A few words about me

Milan is 27, comes from Kutná Hora and lives here with his family. He studied occupational therapy at FZS UJEP in Ústí nad Labem and then healthcare management at FAME UTB in Zlín. He has devoted his entire professional life to healthcare and social services. He has also gained experience in public administration: he served as a regional councillor, was a member of the supervisory board of Oblastní nemocnice Kolín, and is now a councillor in Kutná Hora.
