Main topics

01

transport

Kutná Hora has been struggling with transport for several terms of office now, from public transport to private car traffic and parking. We need to continue and complete existing projects, such as relocating the main bus station and preparing the area around the main railway station for its reconstruction, among others. Parking is certainly a major issue in Kutná Hora too, whether on the Šipší and Hlouška housing estates or in the historic centre. There are plans to build new parking spaces, for example on Sokolská Street, and it is exactly these proposals that must be completed as soon as possible.

02

communication with citizens

I believe people's trust has to be earned, which is why I would like to work towards more transparent tenders and communication with citizens from the town's leadership. For example, I would like to make regular information videos for citizens so they know what's going on in Kutná Hora, what the town hall is working on and what projects are planned. It bothers me that many analytical documents are not public, and for no reason. Another thing I want to change is that some selection procedures are never announced at all and there is no competition for the position in question. Likewise, before the elections I will transparently publish my personal assets. Citizens must be able to trust the town hall, and it must deal with them clearly and be able to justify its actions.

03

active life in the city

Our town isn't always good at communicating with active citizens and supporting their activities; I am talking mainly about various associations and non-profit organisations. My aim is to listen more to these organisations, invite them to dialogue and help them find solutions in cooperation with the town. For example, they have long been saying that they lack a place to hold talks and workshops, and this is where it is the town's job to find suitable premises and support their activities with a symbolic rent. A lively town needs lively associations, and they need the town's support.

A few words about me

I was born and raised in Kutná Hora and lived for many years in a block of flats in Šipší, so I know that car parking, and transport in general, is a big issue in the town. I have a lovely wife and one healthy child. I have a university degree in economics and I also run a business in this field. At the moment I work as an economic consultant and analyst. Good analysis should be built on data and its correct interpretation, and I believe the same should apply to a politician's work.

I would like to improve people's lives in Kutná Hora so that one day we can hand this beautiful town over to our children and proudly say that life here is at least a little bit better than when they were born. I see politics as a service to people and for people, which is why one should approach it with humility, listen to people and consult experts.
