Running for ODS
We'll support cultural and social events and create a system of benefits for the town's residents that makes it easier for them to access culture and community life. We'll make the grant system more efficient so that it supports new projects, local creators and business owners who bring new ideas and energy to the town.
We'll focus even more on improving public space — we'll cut down on advertising clutter and at the same time give business owners positive incentives to improve it. We'll hold an open dialogue with residents about what streets and squares should look like, in cooperation with experts as well as artists and creatives. We'll support residents in being active players in public space, creating it and looking after it themselves. Public space should be welcoming, high-quality and above all serve people.
We want young people to be heard and to take an active part in running the town. We'll create the conditions for a regular dialogue between the town and the young generation and set up a youth council as a long-term partner for cooperation and for moving our town forward.
My name is Jakub, I'm 27 and I've been connected with Kutná Hora all my life. Apart from a short break, I've lived here since early childhood. I work as a press spokesperson and media adviser, dealing with communication, the media and public affairs.
In local politics I'm serving my first term as a councillor of the town of Kutná Hora, and I also hold the position of chair of the culture committee, which I've been working with for a third term. For a long time I've been interested in supporting culture, communication between the town and its residents, and improving public space that serves people and should continue to do so.
In my work and public activities I place emphasis on open communication, concrete results and meaningful projects that move Kutná Hora forward.
