A town full of life

I want Kutná Hora to be alive every day, not just during big events. It all starts with supporting smaller local events and projects, from which new traditions and big events can gradually grow. But culture isn't only about the events themselves. It also includes local businesses, restaurants, cafés and other places that shape the town's atmosphere. On top of that, concerts and bigger events are often seen mainly as a programme for tourists. Introducing a citizen's card with discounted entry to cultural events could get the people of Kutná Hora more involved in what's going on in town, increase attendance and at the same time support local organisers and culture itself.

02

A town where life is good

I want Kutná Hora to be a town where it's a joy to spend time. Clean and tidy streets, attractive squares, greenery, good-quality street furniture and public places that aren't just for passing through but invite you to stop and meet. In my view, public space strongly affects how we feel in a town, and thanks to its history Kutná Hora has huge potential to be not only beautiful for tourists but above all pleasant for the everyday life of the people of Kutná Hora.

03

young people

I want young people who live in Kutná Hora to have more opportunity to influence where it's heading. For them to get room to come up with their own ideas, get involved in what's happening in town, and change it together so that they themselves want to stay, live and create here.

A few words about me

My name is Lukáš, I'm 28 and I've lived in Kutná Hora all my life. My personal and working life has been closely tied to culture and creative work from the very start. Drawing, painting, computer graphics, photography and film accompanied me throughout my school years and are still part of me today.

After my school-leaving exams, I returned to my school as a teacher of audiovisual production and photography. At the same time, I founded my own production studio and started working full-time on advertising, photography, film and above all directing.

I've also long been interested in politics and public affairs. It was exactly the combination of an interest in politics and creative work that led me to make Reels for social media, in which I react to current political events across the whole spectrum with exaggeration, humour and sarcasm.

My relationship with culture is also one of the main reasons I decided to enter local politics. I want Kutná Hora to be a town that really lives every day, gives room to local creators, young people and smaller events, and where culture is a natural part of the lives of the people of Kutná Hora.
