Running for Počernice JINAK

Main topics

01

culture

Culture grows from the bottom up! Horní Počernice needs a municipal pool of basic technical equipment that residents and local associations can borrow for a refundable deposit for their community events. Being able to apply for multi-year grants will bring associations in Horní Počernice the stability and predictability they need. We're one of the most cultural municipalities in the Czech Republic, and that deserves proper care.

02

open city hall and communication

We realise how much clear and concise communication with residents is needed. We'll create the position of a spokesperson, who will be in charge of the town hall's external communication. So that information reaches residents on time and in an understandable form.

03

transport

We'll actively negotiate extending the zones of the RE-kola company (or a similar service) to Horní Počernice. Thanks to support from the City of Prague, every holder of a public transport pass gets 15 minutes of free riding twice a day. That way we'll make the first and last quarter hour of the journey to and from Počernice easier. We want to create room to motivate our fellow residents to cut down on car trips for short journeys across Počernice and so ease traffic. It's not the only solution, that's clear. But it's feasible, with a positive impact on local traffic, emissions and, in the long run, hopefully on the fitness and health of all of us too.

A few words about me

He studied production at DAMU in Prague; during his studies he served as a member of the university's academic senate on its budget committee and, at faculty level, as a member of the scholarship committee. Professionally he works in theatre for children and young people, since 2023 as director of the Damúza theatre, which focuses on original puppet and object theatre. In 2025 Damúza also opened the first cultural space for toddlers and their grown-ups in the Czech Republic. He is also a member of the board of the Czech centre of the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People, ASSITEJ Czechia. For the past 10 years he has also worked with children at the Počernice scout centre: 7 years in a scout troop (boys in grades 6–9) and 3 years as leader of the youngest scouts (1st grade). He has lived in Horní Počernice all his life and values its community character and cultural diversity most of all.
