Safety for 30 thousand isn't enough

Safety is a complex issue, and even though the police and firefighters are state services, I don't think local government should stand aside. If we could at least support every police officer or firefighter serving in our area, it could be a small but concrete step towards improving conditions for those who look after our safety. At the same time, we want more active cooperation with the municipal police and a greater emphasis on order and safety, for example in metro stations.

Blue zones for Prague 13!

When it comes to transport, I'm not a transport expert who could predict how trains, trams or public transport will develop. In my view, Prague has one of the best urban transport systems in Czechia, but in Prague 13 our main problem is the lack of parking spaces. Part of the capacity is taken up by the cars of people who commute to Prague for work from the Central Bohemian Region. After consulting residents, I therefore support introducing blue zones, which can help give residents an advantage and keep parking spaces mainly for people who actually live in Prague 13.

sport

Supporting sport is a clear thing for me. Even though I'm not exactly the sporty type, Prague 13 has lots of talented athletes and we have good youth clubs, such as SK Sokol Stodůlky. These are exactly the clubs and young athletes we should support, so that they have good conditions to develop and can represent Prague 13 successfully.

A few words about me

I'm just an ordinary guy from Prague 13, a student at a secondary health school and someone who has been active on social media for a while. I'm no homo politicus who follows every political scandal, deals with big politics and makes a living from it. Politics interests me mainly where it can have a concrete impact on people's everyday lives.

My whole decision to run actually started very simply. When I walk around Prague 13, I see litter, abandoned car wrecks and other things that just haven't been working the way they should for a long time. At the same time, I understand that the city district doesn't always have all the powers and can't solve everything on its own. But when you walk the streets and talk to people, you quickly find out what really bothers them and where there are problems that are needlessly left burning.

In my view, life in Prague 13 is good. But I think we could have it even better here. When we started doing something, we managed, for example, to remove around ten car wrecks from the streets. For me, that's proof that even an ordinary person can change something if they want to get things done and don't let themselves be put off by “it can't be done”.

I try to base my views mainly on arguments. I have no problem stating my opinion simply and directly, but if I say something is wrong, I should also be able to explain why and ideally offer a solution. I don't want to just criticise. I want to look for things we can realistically do better, faster and more efficiently.

And outside school I also go out on calls with the fire brigade, where I've got used to the fact that sometimes there's no time for long discussions and you simply need to find a solution that works.
