It's also about well-lit streets, well-kept parks, working CCTV systems where they make sense, and about people not being afraid to use public space in the evening too. I want to support measures that will make Prague 10 a place where children, young people and seniors all feel safe.

greenery

I've lived in Zahradní Město my whole life, and greenery is one of the things I love most about this part of Prague. When my friends come here, they often say they don't even feel like they're in the capital. Trees, parks and green courtyards give this place a unique atmosphere. I hope Prague 10 will keep its character in the future too. I want to support care for existing greenery, the planting of new trees and sensitive development that won't come at the expense of places where people can relax or spend time outdoors. I think good-quality public space is what turns a city district into a real home.

A few words about me

I'm 20 and I've lived in Prague 10 all my life, in Zahradní Město to be exact. This year I passed my school-leaving exams at a grammar school specialising in information technology, and in September I'm starting at the Czech University of Life Sciences, where I'll study public administration and regional development.

In the election I'm running for Starostové on the list of the Starostové Vlasta Lidovci coalition. You'll find me in 26th place.

I enjoy meeting new people, I take an interest in what's going on around me, and I believe young people should also have the chance to take part in deciding the future of the place where they live. I want to be the voice of my generation and help make Prague 10 a good place to live for everyone.
