Running for STAN
• Within the first year, we'll set up the Petrovice Youth Committee, made up of students who live or go to school in Petrovice • The district executive board will regularly discuss the committee's proposals In partnership with Prague 15, we'll support the creation of a city student parliament, where we'll be represented by primary school students
• We'll involve residents of the surrounding buildings in preparing the changes • We'll get playgrounds ready for summer heat. We'll add shade sails, drinking fountains and greenery.
Piecemeal expansion of car parks has hit its limits. We need to know the real extent of the problem and prepare a long-term solution. • We'll prepare rules for parking excessively long vehicles. • We'll look into building a multi-storey car park in Dobrá Voda that fits in with the character of the surrounding buildings and also offers usable public space for residents
I grew up in Petrovice and I care about how our city district develops. I've long been interested in public affairs and I'm currently studying Sociology and Social Policy at the Faculty of Social Sciences, UK. I started getting involved in civic life back at grammar school, in the student parliament. Later, in Česká středoškolská unie, I helped bring young people's voices to meetings with politicians and authorities. For example, I worked on changes to school meals, on lowering the age at which students can run for school boards and on fighting discriminatory primary school enrolment rules, which the Constitutional Court then struck down. Last but not least, I took part in the Concept for Supporting Young People in the Czech Republic 2025–2030. I've learned how to see things through to the end, and that's exactly the approach I want to bring to the council.
