open city hall and communication
It wasn't big ambitions that brought me to municipal politics, but an ordinary situation. From my older sister, who has been politically active for quite a while, I often heard that something wasn't possible. Back then I didn't understand official procedures and I wanted to find out where a municipal politician's real options lie. Today I can better tell what's really in their power and what isn't. This experience taught me to deal with things more calmly and with more perspective. And that's exactly what I'd like to pass on, not just to my peers but to all my neighbours. Communication must be clear, concise and human.
