Main topics

01

public space

In Prague we constantly hear about cyclists and drivers, but the everyday people who neither cycle nor drive but simply walk as ordinary pedestrians are forgotten. The myth that pedestrians take up the least space and that a bare dirt path is enough for them is naive. That's why I continue to support expanding and improving infrastructure for pedestrians. In certain areas and neighbourhoods, more residential zones and wider pavements.

02

safety

“Where there are lots of people, there's lots of crime.” A classic equation that may sound logical, but in reality that isn't always the case. Crime in Prague 4, especially around Novodvorská, has been falling for a long time thanks to the efforts and coordination of the authorities and the police. Squats and similar settlements occasionally appear in Prague 4, and there are also places where you still get a bad feeling even in broad daylight. That's why I'm in favour of Prague 4 continuing with its current plan to make these areas safe.

03

sport

“A healthy mind in a healthy body”, as one proverb aptly puts it. Exercise is one of the most important parts of a healthy lifestyle. This connects to a topic that complements better spaces for pedestrians. Walking on its own can help you be in better physical shape, but walking alone isn't quite it. That's where sport comes in. Football, golf, swimming, tennis… it doesn't matter, but in Prague 4 we have very good facilities for athletes. That's why we must support sports clubs and look after the city's sports facilities, so that they all keep serving us for recreation and health.

A few words about me

I was born in Prague 4 and have lived here my whole life. I've been interested in politics from a very early age: at around 6 or 7, the history of the valiant Czech nation came my way, and that's where my interest in politics and history came from. What's more, my candidacy and my wholehearted devotion to ODS are practically hereditary, because my grandmother, Mrs Kučerová, was a long-standing member of ODS and a local politician. I'm currently in my final year at Gymnázium Paměti Národa.

It's precisely having lived in Prague 4 all my life that has taught me our city district is all superlatives - the most populous, the greenest and the largest. That's why it would be a shame not to look after it.
