Main topics

01

public space

My main priority is a safe, clean and quieter public space in Prague 2. I will focus in particular on náměstí Míru, the area around I. P. Pavlova and Karlovo náměstí. I want to tackle night-time noise, litter, dirty streets and vandalism, which make everyday life worse for local residents. I will push for targeted patrols by municipal police officers at problem places and times, fast cleaning and repairs of damaged equipment. Prevention, good lighting and cooperation with local businesses are also important. Residents' complaints must lead to a concrete response and a check on whether the situation has improved. I want people to feel safe in their neighbourhood in the evening too and to be able to sleep peacefully at home.

02

transport

In transport, I want to focus above all on parking for local residents. I support the blue parking zones and will push for Prague 2 residents to have priority and a better chance of parking near where they live. Together with City Hall, I want to look for ways to create new parking spaces, including underground garages where technical conditions, heritage protection and reasonable costs allow. New capacity must respect the quality of public space. The goal is less circling the streets looking for a space and easier parking for people who live in Prague 2.

03

sport

I want to focus on renovating the sports grounds in Grébovka and the basketball court U Vodárny. I will push for quality surfaces, modern equipment and safe conditions for everyday sport. When planning the improvements, I will start from the needs of visitors and take care of the surrounding greenery and the character of the public space. Equally important to me is long-term care of the playgrounds and courts that have already been renovated. Regular inspections, cleaning, timely repairs and enough money for maintenance must be part of every investment. I want the sports grounds to serve well for many years and for the residents of Prague 2 to have good, accessible options for exercise close to home.

A few words about me

My name is Dominik Slanina, I'm 25 and I've lived in Prague all my life. I'm active in the Prague branch of Mladé ANO and I'm interested in politics and sport. I care about how our city works and what life in it is like for people.

I love travelling and getting to know the culture and life in other countries. Travelling reminds me how beautiful and culturally rich Prague is. I feel close to its history and architecture. I want it to keep its character and be a pleasant place to live.

In Prague 2, I want to focus above all on public space. My priority is safer, cleaner and quieter streets, especially around náměstí Míru, I. P. Pavlova and Karlovo náměstí. I will focus on disturbing the peace at night, vandalism and dirty streets. What matters to me is cooperation with municipal police officers, care for the surroundings and a timely response to residents' complaints.

In transport, I concentrate on parking. I support blue zones with priority for residents and looking for new capacity, including underground garages where technical conditions, heritage protection and reasonable costs allow. The goal is easier parking for locals and less circling the streets looking for a space.

I'm also close to sport. I want to work on renovating the sports grounds in Grébovka and the basketball court U Vodárny. Just as important to me is looking after the playgrounds that have already been repaired. Regular maintenance, safe equipment and timely repairs will help make sure they serve well for many years.

I want to build on what works in Prague 2 and help solve residents' everyday problems. I care about a neighbourhood where it's good to live, relax, do sport and meet up.
