01

transport

I want a modern transport system that thinks of everyone. Reliable public transport through dedicated lanes and other priority measures. I want a real network of safe cycle routes and safe, clear space for pedestrians. And roads smartly connected to transfer hubs. I want a historic centre without unnecessary motor traffic. The square shouldn't serve through traffic. Of the cycle paths, we must finally build the path through the Vltava housing estate, the so-called Labská cycle path. We will make the Výstaviště grounds accessible and open them up. Together with Správa železnic and other partners we will negotiate the construction and funding of paths on abandoned railway beds, especially the path via Hosín to Ševětín.

02

public space

I want clear public space for everyone. Barrier-free and taking climate change into account. With enough room for relaxation, blue-green infrastructure and transport. We need to add greenery to the streets, especially trees. We lack dry retention basins and flood parks to let water spread out and protect against floods. We need to build capacity to capture water so that rain doesn't overload the sewer network. Streets mustn't lack enough bike racks. As part of urban development we need to build new, high-quality and sustainable public space. Also thanks to developer contributions, which our movement prepared in the last term of office.

IT and AI in city administration

It's essential to finish the Budějčák portal. With this foundation it will finally be possible to gradually move local government services from the counter to the online environment. Street occupation permits, vehicle entry permits, parking permits and more. There'll still be a lot of work on all of it in the coming years. We have to handle AI prudently; for local government, security must come first. We must build and maintain all systems securely. I can imagine a much better assistant on the city's website than the current one. I myself have an AI tool for checking city contracts, public procurement and the official notice board. As part of an open city hall, I want to make similar functions available to anyone. At the very least as a replacement for the already outdated system for subscribing to news on the city's website.

A few words about me

I'm from České Budějovice and I work as a graphic designer. I studied at the Faculty of Architecture of ČVUT in Prague and did a master's programme at ZČU in Plzeň. Since around 2019 I've been interested in how the city works in Budějovice, which gradually turned into work within the Občané pro Budějovice movement. In the city I focus on active mobility, the quality of public space and urban development. My involvement in the fight against illegal advertising, especially against people around the company Eurobillboard, is well known from the media. I want a welcoming, accessible and open city hall. I want a city where it's a joy to walk and ride a bike.
