Main topics

01

public space

I want a city that develops according to a plan and communicates with its citizens. I'll push for creating the position of city architect, reducing visual smog and quality street furniture. I'll work to revive the centres of individual neighbourhoods and to substantially increase investment in what we use every day — from pavements and cycle paths to utility networks and public lighting. Budějovice has to breathe, so I want to get more greenery into the streets and create new opportunities for recreation.

02

young people

I want to bring politics closer to young people. To communicate with them openly and show them how things actually work at City Hall and in politics. I want to be a confident voice of the young generation on the city council and raise the issues that really matter to my generation. Budějovice has to offer affordable housing, meaningful support and enough places for culture, sport and meeting up.

03

tourism

Tourism has to help the city, not drain it. I'll support the development of quality services for sustainable tourism that build on the real potential of our region and so directly support the local economy. Through effective, long-term planning I want to prevent overtourism, so that Budějovice stays a great place to live and an attractive destination for visitors, and becomes a confident city in Europe and the world.

A few words about me

I'm a Budějovice native who cares about our city and the whole country, which is why I went into politics in 2020 at the age of 18. Professionally, I focus mainly on local development, and at the national level I work on security and international relations. I'm currently a member of the Tourism Committee and the Environment Committee of the České Budějovice City Executive Board. For the past year I've also been a political representative on the Committee for the Development of the Metropolitan Area. Within the party, I lead the České Budějovice Pirates as chair of the local branch and I'm also vice-chair of the South Bohemian Pirates. I completed the secondary school programme in Tourism and a bachelor's degree in Territorial Studies specialising in Contemporary History at Univerzita Karlova, where I'm now continuing my studies in Social Geography and Regional Development. In my free time I'm actively into sport, travelling and photography.
