Main topics

01

housing

Prague 6 is one of the city districts with the highest average age and the most expensive housing. I don't want young people to have to leave Šestka, so I'll push for a starter housing programme. Our city district should also focus on obtaining flats from developer contributions and generally develop its housing stock. Following the example of other city districts, I also want to initiate the town hall identifying suitable non-residential spaces it owns (e.g. unused studios) whose permitted use could be changed so they can be used for starter or affordable housing.

02

social services

Prague 6 should be able to offer help to its citizens when they need it. I support the development of outreach and respite services, as well as cooperation with non-profit organisations. Another important topic for me in the social sphere is Trojdomí Šolínova.

03

schools and education

Investment in education must be among the town hall's top priorities. I want to push for our city district to give more support to head teachers, teachers and non-teaching staff. An important topic for me is supporting mental health in schools and developing extracurricular activities. Prague 6 should also look for ways to expand capacity at nursery and primary schools and at the same time negotiate better with City Hall on the availability of secondary schools. It's also important to me that the town hall listens more to the youngest, too. That's why I'd like to push through a participatory project that would let pupils from Prague 6 present their suggestions and ideas about their school or neighbourhood and, at the same time, learn more about how the council works.

A few words about me

I come from Dejvice and today I live in Bubeneč. Prague 6 is my home and a place where I want young people to have a real chance to stay, live, work and get involved in public life.

I studied political science and public policy and I'm continuing with a master's in public and social policy at FSV, Univerzita Karlova. I've long been interested in social and education policy. At the town hall I sit on the Komise pro sociálně bytové otázky. One of the topics I want to push for is starter housing for young people.

In recent years I've been active in the non-profit sector and civic associations, both as a volunteer and professionally. I'm a member of the presidium of the youth political organisation TOP tým and chair of TOP tým Praha, where I try to support young people's involvement in public life. In my free time I also enjoy travelling and writing just for myself.
