transport

Transport is one of the most important issues in Prague 6. I don't want to look for simple solutions based on bans or to set drivers, public transport passengers, pedestrians and cyclists against each other. The district hall should look for sensible measures without extremes that will improve everyday getting around the city district and allow people to choose their mode of transport according to their own needs. I want to support the development of tram lines, better connections between public transport and the railway, and better service for the outlying parts of Prague 6. Also important is transforming Veleslavín station into a dignified transport hub and sensitively integrating the modernised railway into the surrounding neighbourhoods. The pressure of car traffic on residential neighbourhoods needs to be reduced above all through good infrastructure and the offer of suitable alternatives. Parking should be dealt with in view of the needs of local residents, supplemented by multi-storey car parks and P+R car parks for commuters. At the same time, new development must plan for an appropriate transport solution from the start. Safe and comfortable movement for pedestrians is also important, especially around schools, stops, crossings and important walking routes. Transport measures should be based on how individual places really work and on data about how people actually move through them.

02

safety

Safety doesn't come only from more police patrols. It starts with the district hall knowing well where and why people don't feel safe. So I want Prague 6 to systematically collect and evaluate suggestions from residents of the individual neighbourhoods and combine them with available city data. Based on this information, a clear map should be created of places that people consider dangerous or unpleasant. On the basis of which the district hall can then take targeted measures: improve lighting, adjust greenery and street furniture, make a crossing clearer, repair a pavement or change the layout of the public space. The presence of the municipal police should be one of the possible tools where local experience and an evaluated situation really justify it. At the same time, residents should be able to easily find out how the district hall dealt with their suggestion and whether the measure taken actually helped. Safety policy should be based on knowledge of specific places, open communication with locals and regular evaluation of results.

03

open city hall and communication

The district hall should be understandable, open and accessible to its citizens. I support further digitalisation of the office, informing residents in good time and using city data when planning transport, public space and investments. People should know what's being prepared in their area, how much it will cost and what benefit the project will bring to their everyday lives.

A few words about me

I'm 24 and I've lived in Prague since I was fifteen. Prague 6 is home for me and a place I want to connect my future with. Professionally, I've gained experience in geographic information systems and spatial data, but also working as a steward on night trains. Thanks to that, I know public transport not only as a regular passenger, but also from the perspective of someone who worked in it and communicated with passengers every day. Since 2020 I've been active in the youth political organisation TOP tým. Since 2026 I've been a member of TOP 09, and I'm now a member of the presidium of TOP tým Praha. I want to bring a practical, data-based approach, personal responsibility and a willingness to listen to the people directly affected by the district hall's decisions to local politics. In my free time I'm mainly interested in history, geography, geopolitics and public transport. I believe politics should above all be a service to citizens and a search for concrete solutions that improve everyday life.
