Main topics

01

environment

Climate change is already affecting Jindřichův Hradec too. It's most visible in summer – there are more hot days, less shade, and water in the town is ever more precious. That's why we want to support better rainwater management, tree planting and care for urban greenery. The aim is for the town to be more resilient to drought and heat and to offer a more pleasant environment to live in.

02

public space

Public space significantly affects residents' quality of life and visitors' first impressions. We want squares, parks and other busy places to offer a reason to visit all year round and to be a lively heart of the town. We'll focus on unifying street furniture according to a single public space manual and on revitalising the historic town centre. On housing estates, we want to create more good places for relaxing, meeting and leisure activities for all generations. Our aim is for Jindřichův Hradec to be a well-kept, welcoming and lively town that's a good place to live and to spend free time.

03

young people

Young people should be able to influence what happens in the town from school age. That's why we want to set up a student council and introduce a participatory budget for primary school pupils, so they can propose and carry out projects themselves that improve their school and its surroundings. We also want to develop cooperation with universities so that Jindřichův Hradec gains new ideas, expert projects and opportunities for students. Our aim is for young people to have a reason and an opportunity to get involved in the life of the town and, in the future, to tie their future to it.

A few words about me

I'm a student at the Faculty of Science of Univerzita Karlova and, from September, a teacher of sixth-grade classes, qualified in Geography and History. I've been involved in politics since I was 17, and I first ran for the Jindřichův Hradec council 4 years ago. After the elections I got a seat on the Environment Commission and also moved the town forward with winning projects in the participatory budget. I'm also gaining experience as an assistant to a member of the Chamber of Deputies.
