Running for TOP 09
Affordable housing is one of the basic preconditions for a good life in Ostrava. We need to support the creation of affordable, quality housing and respond to the needs of people who want to live in Ostrava. Housing mustn't be a luxury, but a normal certainty for families, young people and seniors.
Functional transport is absolutely essential for everyday life. I'd like people in Ostrava to be able to get around comfortably and safely, whether they're travelling on foot, by bike, by public transport or by car.
People judge the quality of a city mainly by what everyday life in it is like for them. I want Ostrava to be clean, well-kept, safe and pleasant to live in – from pavements and greenery to benches, lighting and playgrounds. It's precisely the seemingly small things that, taken together, make a big difference.
I work in payroll, specialising in debt enforcement and insolvency. I spend my free time with a good book or music. I like reading sci-fi and fantasy best. In music, I'm most drawn to progressive rock and metal, especially Leprous and Ayreon. I like listening to people, I look for sensible solutions and I want to help make life in Ostrava better for us.
