Transport and city infrastructure

Cycling simply belongs in Ostrava! But for the current political leadership it's not an issue. We want more bike racks, new footbridges over the Oder and the Ostravice and, above all, linking shared bikes with public transport. You get on a bike outside your block, ride to the tram or bus and carry on! For an Ostrava that isn't afraid of bikes!

02

communication with citizens and coordination of utility operators

In front of my house they've been digging every year for about 5 years in a row. Each time it's a different utility operator. What's more, I never find out in advance, unless I happen to come across it on the official notice board. I want to change that. The municipality has to act as a coordinator of the utility operators — it will save all of us money and also a lot of hassle and dust. And it should inform us as effectively as possible about what's going to happen around our homes.

03

public space

Public space should serve all age groups. Young people too. Good public space has a big impact on the quality of our life in the city, which is why I'm pushing for more water features — especially drinking fountains, chill-out zones and benches that bear in mind that it's harder to get up when you're old.

A few words about me

I'm an ordinary girl from Ostrava. Mum of two amazing boys, entrepreneur, activist and dreamer. I've been doing politics for 8 years because I care about the place where I live and I want us to have a good life.
