Where they disagree
Statements from the election calculator on which the people on stage differ the most — based on their own answers (4 of 7 answered).
-
Culture
The city should significantly support independent and alternative culture, assuming a loss of control over the investments and an uncertain return on them.
-
Finance
The city of Zlín should offer its remaining ownership stake in the Baťovy závody complex to private investors, even at the cost of losing control over a significant historical monument and site.
-
Education
Univerzita Tomáše Bati should seek to broaden the range of its degree programmes and faculties, even at the cost of a significant increase in spending and an uncertain return in the future that would take several years.
-
Transport
The city's public transport should increase the capacity of night bus services to improve access to the centre and support entertainment, even at the cost of higher costs and a heavier burden on employees.
