culture

What Zlín lacks isn't only cultural events. It also lacks places where people can naturally spend time, meet new people and get involved in the life of the city. It's precisely such environments, often referred to as third places, that are an important part of a lively city. I want to support community and cultural projects that connect students, young creators and the general public. These include, for example, smaller community events, the use of public spaces or the creation of places where people will naturally spend time.

02

IT and AI in city administration

Many everyday matters should be simpler and more accessible online. I want to support further digitalisation of city services so that people don't have to go to the office for things that can be safely handled from home. Digitalisation isn't a goal in itself. It's a tool that can save people time and make public services more accessible. That's why I also see room for further development of DSZO's digital services. For example, introducing digital passes and tickets right in your mobile phone would make travelling on city public transport much easier.

03

schools and education

Good education is one of the best investments in a city's future. Schools shouldn't just be a place of teaching, but also an environment that prepares young people for real life. Part of good education is also modern prevention based on open communication and practical information. Young people need good information, to understand the consequences of their decisions and to be able to take responsibility.

A few words about me

I'm a student at Gymnázium a Jazyková škola Zlín. I've long been involved in public affairs and in getting young people involved in decisions on matters that concern them. I served as 1st vice-chair of the Children and Youth Parliament of the Czech Republic and I currently lead the Regional Children and Youth Parliament of the Zlín Region.

I'm mainly interested in economics, public administration and how cities work. Before I propose a solution, I first try to understand the problem itself. I look for data, experience from other cities and proven findings, and only then do I form my own opinion. I believe good decisions should rest on facts, efficient financial management and a long-term perspective.

I want Zlín to be a city where people don't just study or work, but where they want to spend their time, develop their ideas and build their future.
