Affordable housing and support for families

Prague needs more affordable flats. We want to speed up the preparation of new construction, make better use of city land and support municipal and cooperative housing. City flats must have clear and transparent rules and help above all those who really need them. New construction must go hand in hand with sufficient capacity in schools, nurseries, health services, transport and parking. We want a Prague in which young people and families with children can plan their future and seniors can live with dignity too.

02

Transport without needless bans

We don't want to pit drivers and public transport passengers against each other. Prague needs good public transport as well as a working road network. We support further development of the metro and tram lines, expanding P+R and creating new parking capacity and multi-storey car parks. We reject unsystematic restrictions on car traffic without an adequate alternative. We also want to coordinate closures and repairs better so that they don't needlessly block several important routes at the same time. Parking policy must respect the needs of residents of the individual city districts.

03

Safety and order on Prague's streets

Prague must be a city where people feel safe by day and by night. We want to strengthen the presence of police officers and municipal police officers right on the streets, especially in problem areas. We want to put the emphasis on prevention, rapid response and consistently dealing with breaches of public order. Better cooperation between the municipal police and Policie ČR and efficient use of available capacity are also important. Safe surroundings of schools, parks, public spaces and public transport must be a given in Prague.

A few words about me

I'm 31 and professionally I work as a Fleet Manager and car salesman. I've worked in sales for many years and I'm used to dealing with people every day, finding concrete solutions and taking responsibility for the result. I want to bring the same practical approach to politics.

I'm actively involved in public life mainly in Prague 17. I'm running for the Prague City Council and at the same time I'm leading the list in Prague 17. In this way I want to connect experience from the everyday life of a city district with decision-making about the whole of Prague.

I want to focus most on affordable housing and support for families, transport and parking, and safety. Prague must keep developing, but sensibly and with regard for the people who actually live in it.

I didn't go into politics just to criticise. I want to come up with specific, workable proposals, listen to people and bring their suggestions into decision-making. In my view, politics should above all solve everyday problems and deliver results that people actually feel.
