Running for Občanská iniciativa Zdiby

Main topics

01

The environment we move through

Since I've lived in Zdiby all my life, how it looks is absolutely key for me. What matters most to me in the municipality is the environment we move through every day. I wanted to have more of a hand in shaping my surroundings, and that's exactly the approach I want to bring to the council. My goal is to help steer our projects so that we have everything we need here and so that life here together is as good as possible.

02

Technical and sustainable solutions

I approach things around us responsibly, and not only as a student of water management at ČVUT. I'm used to looking not just for quick patches, but for technical, logical and sustainable long-term solutions. That's exactly the rational approach I want to offer in developing the municipality too. I want to make sure our projects make sense and head in the right direction for years to come.

03

Actively shaping our surroundings

I grew up in Zdiby, went to football and to the arts school, and my desire to take part in what's happening around me eventually led me to leading a scout centre. I also draw on my experience as a grammar school teacher. I care about the direction our municipality is taking. I want to offer my energy and experience in leading young people so that we develop the municipality in a way that makes life here good for all of us in the years to come too.

A few words about me

I've lived in Zdiby since birth – I went through nursery, school and football here, and I care about what's happening around me. I study water management at ČVUT, I teach at a grammar school and I lead a scout centre in Klecany. I can see that Zdiby is changing for the better under the mayor's leadership, which is why I decided to run for OIZ. I want to bring a professional perspective to my work for the municipality, which is why I've taken educational courses and the programme of Nadace Via, where I gained an overview of how successful municipalities work.
