safety

As a municipal police officer, I see every day what people need: safe streets, a calm neighbourhood and the certainty that they can move around their city without fear. Safety is a basic condition for a good quality of life, and thanks to my experience I know where the problems are and what needs to change. I want to push for a city where people feel safe at home, in the street and on public transport. Special attention should go to children and young people, who should be able to grow up, study and spend their free time without fear. A safe city requires prevention, a quick response and cooperation. I want to use my experience for concrete solutions that will increase safety in the centre and on the outskirts of the city. A city where safety won't just be a promise, but an everyday reality. Because a safe city is a city where life is good for all of us.

sport

I believe that in this term we've shown that we really care about sport and its development. Jihlava is changing: Horácká aréna is being built, Český mlýn is developing and the city has a newly renovated swimming pool. These are concrete projects that give sport in Jihlava room to grow. Sport has an irreplaceable place in our city. It isn't just about results and medals. It's about a healthy lifestyle, friendship, discipline and spending free time meaningfully. And for young people especially, sport can be an important way to find a crew, motivation and their own direction. I want young people in Jihlava to have the best possible conditions for doing sport. So that sport isn't the privilege of a chosen few, but a natural part of the life of everyone who wants to be active.

A few words about me

I'm an ordinary Jihlava guy who decided years ago that he didn't want to just complain about things he didn't like, but wanted to try to change them. Today I have two terms of office behind me, which flew by incredibly fast.

I've worked as a municipal police officer since 2017. It's a job I literally live for. Every day I meet people, deal with their problems, and sometimes a lot is really at stake. In my job I've been through several situations I won't forget – including saving a human life. That's exactly why I know that a safe and well-functioning city isn't something to take for granted.

Outside work and politics, though, I'm mainly a normal guy. I like playing a bit of football with friends, going fishing, travelling the world or just putting on my headphones and walking around Jihlava. I like healthy humour, good company and above all a life that isn't just about work and obligations.

I believe a person should make full use of their time, leave something behind and at the same time be able to stop and enjoy ordinary pleasures. That's why I try to do things that make sense for the people around me, for Jihlava and for the future of the city I live in. And if my work can help make Jihlava a better, calmer and safer place for everyone, it means something to me.
