The outflow of young people from our region is a long-term issue. There's no single solution. But a combination of several factors could handle it. Personally, I'd like the city to be able to offer municipal flats at an affordable price to young families. To actively support people starting a business. At the same time, to strengthen the links between VŠPJ and practice. What we can't forget is culture and sport. So that the city is alive and there are enough options for how to spend your free time. Whether we're talking about building more playgrounds, creating more cultural events by the city, or building places to relax, for example city parks. And also to keep working towards a VRT stop in Jihlava, which would ensure fast transport across the country from our city.

More greenery, a better life

With climate change advancing, the topic of greenery is twice as pressing. I'll work to continue the current trend of revitalisation projects focusing on having enough greenery around. We need more suitable trees, shrubs and other greenery to enrich the streets of our city instead of scorching concrete.

Sport as a path to health

I'm of the view that in Jihlava we still don't have enough sports facilities of various kinds. Ideally we'd focus on the parts of the city where there are no sports facilities and gradually build them there. That would motivate children and adults to move, because that's exactly what our society is missing.

A few words about me

I've basically lived in Jihlava my whole life, and most of my family and friends are here. It's my home. And I have no intention of running away from it. That's why I'm running, and why I've been actively involved in politics for over five years – to have the chance to help shape the direction of the city I live in. In the last term the city has been on a positive trend and I want to keep it going, to be proud of my city, of my home.

I'm running in Jihlava for TOP 09 as part of the Tým pro Jihlavu group, together with colleagues from ODS and KDU-ČSL. We have a team of capable, hard-working people and something to build on, so I believe we'll succeed.

I've worked in retail for over ten years, so I know working with people like the back of my hand. On top of that, I'm studying political science. I realised long ago that politics affects us from birth right to the very end, so why close our eyes to it. People and politics – that's what shapes the world around us.

In my free time I loyally support the local football club FC Vysočina, or I spend time on palaeontology, which is a really big hobby of mine.
