A few words about me

Hradec Králové is the city where I live, work and spend most of my time. I work as an IT specialist at Univerzita Hradec Králové. Outside work, I've been involved in culture, art and public space in our city for several years. For example, I'm behind the Spray ’n’ Chill project, which combines graffiti, street art, music, exhibitions, talks, workshops and other cultural activities. Part of our work is restoring legal graffiti walls and looking for ways street art can work naturally in public space. Over several years we've organised a number of events and projects in Hradec. Thanks to that I've got to know not only the cultural scene itself, but also everything that goes with organising projects like these, from coming up with the programme and finding venues, through communicating with authorities and partners, to actually making it happen. I enjoy taking an idea, finding a way to make it happen, and in the end seeing that it really works and means something to people. I'm running because I don't just want to comment on Hradec online, but to actually take part in what happens in it. I care about the city and I want it to be a good place to live not only today, but also in ten or twenty years. I think everyone who cares about their city can do their bit. I'd like to add my experience, ideas and energy to that. I enjoy a city that's alive, where there's somewhere to go, where people have a pleasant environment to live in and where you can feel good not only at home but also outside. And that's exactly what I'd like to contribute to with my work.
