About the calculator
How does the election calculator work?
You choose your city and the quiz length (6, 12 or 18 statements) and, for each statement on local politics, say how much you agree. Candidates in the 2026 municipal elections from your city answered the same statements. At the end you'll see who you agree with most — statement by statement too, including their comments.
How is the match calculated?
You and the candidates answer on the same four-point scale with no neutral option. The same answer is 100 %, “somewhat” versus “definitely” on the same side is 75 %, “somewhat yes” versus “somewhat no” is 50 %, “somewhat” versus “definitely” on opposite sides is 25 % and exact opposites are 0 %. The result is the average across all statements the candidate answered — no weighting and no hidden points.
Is the calculator impartial?
Yes. NEZÁJEM is an independent, non-profit educational project with no ties to any political party. The calculator shows your match with specific people, never with parties. It's free and you don't sign up for anything.

How is it calculated?
You and the candidates answer on the same four-point scale — from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree”, with no neutral option. For each statement, we look at how far apart your answers are on that scale: the same answer is 100 %, “somewhat” versus “strongly” on the same side is 75 %, “somewhat agree” versus “somewhat disagree” is 50 %, “somewhat” versus “strongly” on opposite sides is 25 % and exact opposites (“strongly agree” versus “strongly disagree”) are 0 %. The overall match is the average across all statements the candidate answered. No weighting or hidden points — every statement counts the same.
