01

jobs and business

Světlá is a town of glass. But we know from experience that when the glassworks fall, the town falls with them – and that needs to change. Světlá must not become an open-air museum; on the contrary, it must support new and existing businesses. Only then will we achieve a variety of job offers. I want to actively attract companies to the existing, unused business zones, which can be expanded if needed – but always with respect for the surroundings and nature. That won't happen without infrastructure being ready, such as diverting lorries from the centre once the new bridge by the railway station, designed for this traffic, has been built. With jobs will also come services. These can meet the demand for part-time jobs that local students look for in vain in the town and have to commute for.

02

communication with citizens

If a town sleeps, so do its residents. Active and human communication with residents is the way to increase their satisfaction, their involvement in public space and their desire to live in the town. Events, planned road closures, important decisions… there's plenty going on, but people don't know about a lot of it – because the current form of communication is inadequate and often hard to understand. I want to change that not by creating another official's post, but by supporting the existing staff member with the help of students who would work under their guidance, go through training and could do this work as a part-time job. Likewise, creating a platform for the town to meet local companies and businesspeople will help respond to any changes and give the town feedback.

03

public space

When a town doesn't notice, life drains away. Culture shouldn't be something distant, but what surrounds us every day and what we can create together with others. I want to push for legal walls next to the skatepark, which would also get the repair it needs. I also want to push for demolishing the never-finished swimming pool that has been an eyesore in the town for decades, and for preparing a project for an outdoor swimming pool with spaces for leisure events, galleries, exhibitions and other activities that support life in the town. Even the river won't be left high and dry. The bank at Pěšinky would get a jetty that would make swimming in the Sázava more pleasant.

A few words about me

Although I come from Prague 5, I've been living in Světlá nad Sázavou for several years now. I graduated from the local grammar school, where I'm behind the successful student parliament project, which became the voice of young people not only at school but also in the town. I'm currently starting to study political science at FF UK. Into the elections I bring sensitivity from child psychiatry in Havlíčkův Brod, where I worked as a volunteer, communication skills from organising successful charity events, and decisiveness in unexpected situations. I'm running because I don't want to sit with my arms folded and wait for someone else to do the work of developing our town. I have a clear vision and I want to be the voice of young people, students and those who care about where they live. I want to be able to take part in decisions that affect our town and region, and to develop them to the best of my knowledge and conscience. In short, I want to help build a place I consider my home. I'm a passionate metalhead who spends his free time writing poetry, reading literature, travelling, embroidering and with the people close to him.
