Running for Srdcem pro Světlou

Main topics

01

communication with citizens

The town has to talk to its own residents proactively and transparently. We'll modernise the town office so that people can take care of as many matters as possible from their phone or computer. We'll introduce a click-through budget for complete transparency of finances. We'll push through roll-call voting on the executive board and the council, so that people can keep an eye on their elected representatives. For more effective information we'll introduce a mobile public announcement service. We'll meet local village committees more often and listen to them, because once a year really isn't enough. We'll also involve the young generation in running the town through a municipal pupils' parliament.

02

jobs and business

We'll introduce regular meetings with local tradespeople and business owners as part of a municipal business commission, to support them in their growth, increase competition in the job market and so raise wages in the region. We'll support new entrepreneurs through a municipal advice centre and shared offices.

03

public space

We'll revive neglected public spaces and turn them into attractive areas with public barbecue spots, fire pits, benches, refreshing water features and new playgrounds. A concrete example is the dilapidated swimming pool in Pěšinky, where we can create a new town park with an amphitheatre and water features. We'll support neighbourhood get-togethers, community events and local associations so that Světlá comes alive. We'll plant trees and shrubs on housing estates, along roads and cycle paths, to better protect the town from increasingly frequent heatwaves. We'll revitalise the town's ponds and the Sázava river so they can be used for swimming. We'll remove barriers so that our town is accessible to families with children, seniors and people with disabilities.

A few words about me

I study history and civics teaching at the Faculty of Education of Masarykova univerzita. I'm chair of the Piráti in the Vysočina Region and an adviser to a member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. At the moment I make a living as a videomaker and social media manager.

I entered politics a few years ago, eager to help people and change my surroundings for the better. I want young people to have a reason to stay in our region, to find good jobs here, to have a pleasant environment for raising their children and to live well here, not just get by. I hate the phrase “it can't be done”. I'd much rather look for ways and people that help move things forward. In Světlá nad Sázavou I've found people like that, and together we have a solid vision and energy for our town that we want to turn into reality. Because what we make of it is what we'll have. We're going for it with all our HEART!
