Main topics

01

schools and education

Education and schools are among the most important topics. They need to be constantly developed and supported. In Řevnice, for example, the local primary school is being successfully developed and modernised, but there's still room for improvement. It's also important to think about the further education of young residents of Řevnice, which will mostly take place in Prague or Beroun, and to adapt the quality of transport, housing etc. to that.

02

culture

For the young generation in Řevnice to spend a bit more of their free time here, Řevnice needs to adapt so that it offers even more cultural events that catch people's interest than it does now. Even though, for example, our Řevnice cinema is renowned and popular across the surrounding towns and villages, so we already have something to be proud of. It's also important to remember that Prague, for example, offers many more cultural events, both daytime and night-time, so transport is also one of the key areas, making sure people can get there and back home without stress, even when there are transport disruptions. So bus services need to be strengthened in case the main train service fails.

03

young people

Řevnice needs to be attractive to young people, in terms of free time and housing, and above all good transport links to the surrounding areas, especially to Prague and Beroun, for school as well as for work and free time. A lot of Řevnice residents (not only young ones) commute every day. They mustn't be forgotten, because they make up a big, important part of Řevnice.

A few words about me

No. 10 - at the time of the elections I'll be 29. I'm a student at Univerzita Karlova (FHS UK), a project administrator and HR officer at the Probační a mediační služba. My interests include historical stage fencing, reading and cycling. A born Praguer. I've lived in Řevnice for almost 20 years. I focus mainly on culture, education and working with children and young people. I have experience of running and leading a student association and from academic senates. I also led a club at the Dům dětí a mládeže Prahy 7. I'm a member of Mladí Starostové and a registered supporter of Starostové a nezávislí. I'd like to represent above all the young generation and help make Řevnice appealing to young people in terms of free time, working conditions and affordable housing. I'd like Řevnice to continue to be kept as a town with a positive relationship to nature and, at the same time, to gradually modernise and so stay attractive (not only) to young people, although this shouldn't come at the expense of preserving its historic monuments. I like that the town of Řevnice puts a lot into its primary school and into hobby and sports clubs for children and young people. Another area I consider important is affordable, good-quality transport, as many of our residents travel to school or work either to Prague or Beroun or to the surrounding areas.
