Main topics

01

Better connecting the town with young people

We'll build on the student council project and take it to the next level. Secondary school students would get more opportunity to take part in deciding on things that directly affect them, and at the same time they'd get hands-on experience of how the town works, its budget and its decision-making processes. The student council shouldn't just be a place for discussion, but a real partner of the town. Its members could come up with their own proposals and take part in carrying out specific projects. The aim is to create a generation of young people who understand the town, feel connected to it and aren't afraid to take an active part in its future.

02

Better communication with citizens

We want the town not to be just an institution that makes decisions, but also a partner that listens to its citizens. That's why I'd like to push through regular meetings between the town leadership and citizens, where people can openly bring their own suggestions, comments and criticism. I consider criticism a natural and important part of working for the town. I also want to improve how the town communicates online. The town should respond to citizens' suggestions quickly and clearly, and let them know how their comment was dealt with. The town's communication must fit the times we live in and be able to reach all generations and groups of residents.

03

Better facilities for sport

Sport and active leisure are an important part of life in the town. I want Žďár to offer good, accessible options for exercise for everyone. That's why we'll continue modernising sports facilities, supporting local clubs and developing public spaces for sport and recreation. We'll focus on making better use of the potential of Pilák, the town forests and other places in Žďár. We'll support the development of cycling, running and winter sports, as well as new sports. Our vision also includes good options for summer swimming and further development of sports infrastructure.

A few words about me

I'm a 19-year-old student who has lived in Žďár my whole life. In September I'm starting at the Faculty of Law of Univerzita Karlova. From an active interest in politics and in keeping people informed about what's going on in it, I decided to take the next step and become part of public life in the very place that is closest to my heart.

I want to use my experience and energy for Žďár. It matters to me that our town keeps developing, is able to respond to the needs of its residents and is an attractive place to live, work and spend free time.
