Running for Změna pro Roztoky

Main topics

01

budget and finances

Over the 2022 to 2026 term, 1.1 billion crowns of our taxes flowed through the town budget. Roztoky has enough money; it doesn't need any more debt or an increase in property tax. We'll carry out a financial audit, we want to lower property tax, and we'll give citizens positive motivation to register their residence in Roztoky.

02

IT and AI in city administration

The town office should serve citizens, not itself. We want a modern, digital and efficient local government that manages public money responsibly. We'll build Self-Government 2.0. We'll gradually digitalise the town's individual services, simplify processes and offer citizens more services online, introduce digital task management and bring AI into dealing with those tasks.

03

sport

The current model of “carving up the pie” every year is outdated and non-transparent. We want to support long-term development projects or grants and expand the range of sports and cultural activities in Roztoky. Sport is important for the town, just like culture. That's why they should get adequate funding.

A few words about me

I'm Jirka Hašek, a student at Vysoká škola ekonomická, an MP's assistant and also chair of the Central Bohemian Mladí ODSáci. In the last parliamentary elections I ran in 33rd place for the SPOLU coalition, and this year I've decided to put my energy into the local elections and try to change things in Roztoky. Our town manages a budget of more than 300 million, but that isn't really reflected in the town's investment activities. Investments lack a concept, roads get patched chaotically and the town lacks a clear vision. And we want to CHANGE that!
