public space

I want streets where people like to spend time and where there's life. Where they stop on the way home from work for some music, a dance, a glass of wine, or just sit down on a bench and read a book. How do we get there? Decide what each space should offer and whether cars have to be everywhere, or whether we can leave them out in some places so they don't form a wall of vehicles. Public spaces, schools and public buildings need to be connected by comfortable paths for pedestrians, prams and bikes. Complemented by the right street furniture (drinking fountains, public toilets, bins...) along with good public transport, these changes can brighten up lots of streets and even create opportunities for local businesses.

IT and AI in city administration

Filling in a Word form that I download from the municipal website after two hours of searching could finally be a thing of the past. Digitalisation starts with tidying up the website and auditing processes, and ends with a clear app that guides residents through every step of a given life situation and fills in most things itself from other databases. And changes don't have to come only from the top, but also from officials, whose initiative to make their work more efficient should be supported and valued.

sport

Sport is an important element in the development not only of young people but of communities too. They need support, but also motivation to grow and develop.

A few words about me

I'm a hydraulic structures designer, which is exactly the field I studied at VUT in Brno. I moved to Ostrava from my native Kopřivnice after finishing university. I go hiking in the mountains, play floorball, and I like technology and nature (exactly the combination for my job). At the same time, I don't like being a slave to the digital world, even though I use it intensively too. Maybe that's exactly why I insist on the digital world working efficiently, so that we don't become its slaves.
