Where they disagree

Statements from the election calculator on which the people on stage differ the most — based on their own answers (2 of 5 answered).

  1. Sport

The city should continue to financially support senior ice hockey in Ústí nad Labem, even though the most recent clubs repeatedly failed to meet the conditions of the subsidies and ended up in financial difficulties.

  2. City governance and participation

The council should have a binding rule on the representation of people under 30, for example a guaranteed seat on one of the executive board's committees, at the expense of a possible decline in the quality of decision-making.

  3. Transport

Fares on Ústí nad Labem's public transport should be free for people under 26.

  4. Urban development

Young people who want to get into politics, but not through a party, should have easier access to internships at the City Office and to seats on the supervisory boards of municipal companies, even at the cost of weakening the power and significance of the mandate for those elected.
