Clean streets, well-kept greenery and repaired pavements shouldn't be an election promise but a given. I want people not to have to work out whether their problem belongs to the city hall or the city district. When a citizen points out litter, a broken pavement or a neglected spot, the city should fix the problem quickly, not explain who's responsible for it. It should also prevent these problems, so that our city looks the way it and its residents deserve.
I studied political science and public policy at FSV UK and I've long focused on affordable housing, the poverty business and the issue of socially excluded areas. I care about Ústí being a safe and pleasant city to live in, where people want to stay, start families and have a reason to be proud of their city. I work as a self-employed project manager, and in my free time I enjoy sport, travelling, reading and culture, and I'm interested in gastronomy and wine, which I've also worked with.
