A few words about me
I was born in Ústí nad Labem and spent a large part of my life in Neštěmice. I graduated from a technical secondary school specialising in automation and computer applications, and later continued in Prague in the field of security systems and security technologies.
Professionally, I work around electronics, robotics and new technologies. I've worked on projects in electromobility, industrial automation and artificial intelligence. Today I work as a process engineer. I enjoy finding out why things don't work and setting them up so they're simpler, clearer and, above all, actually work for the people who deal with them every day.
I've also been involved in scouting for a long time. I co-lead a scout troop and a scout centre, and it's working with children that taught me that trust, patience and the ability to give others responsibility are often more important than having your own solution for everything.
I'm also involved in municipal and regional politics. I chair the local Piráti branch in Ústí nad Labem and I'm vice-chair of the regional branch. In Neštěmice I sit on the finance committee and I'm also a member of the supervisory board of ZOO Ústí nad Labem. I see politics above all as a service to the city and its residents. I want decision-making to be open and based on data, and for things not only to be promised but also followed through.
Outside work and politics I play hockey, I'm learning electric bass, I follow esports and I'm into music and pop culture.
