Main topics

01

public space

I want public space in Bílovec to be not just somewhere people pass through, but where they'll enjoy spending time. I want to focus on making better use of places that are currently unused, planting greenery, new benches and pleasant spaces where all generations can meet. I believe that high-quality public space has a major impact on residents' everyday lives.

02

sport

I want to support sports activities for children and adults and build on Bílovec's sporting tradition. I support the revitalisation of the Skalka site as a modern sports complex offering space for various leisure activities, and also opening a discussion about the existing plans and intentions for the Na Střelnici complex. At the same time it's important to create conditions for sport accessible to all generations, across all sports.

03

young people

I want Bílovec to be a town where young people will want to stay or come back to. That means supporting sport, high-quality public space, leisure opportunities and greater involvement of young people in what's happening in the town.

A few words about me

My name is Tomáš Rubač, I'm 21 and I study economics at the Prague University of Economics and Business. I work as a financial analyst at a company in the field of healthcare technology, and this autumn I'm doing an internship at the European Parliament in Brussels. Although I study and work outside the region, Bílovec is my home and a place I have a strong bond with and regularly come back to. I'm running because I believe young people too should bring new ideas and take responsibility for the development of their town. My goal is to look for concrete solutions and common ground instead of needless disputes.
