Karlovy Vary needs to plan its investments years ahead and have projects ready before the money appears. I also want simpler communication with the municipal office, more services online and a greater emphasis on making sure city property really serves the city's development.
A city must be pleasant above all for the people who live in it every day. That means reliable public transport, sensible parking, safe streets, good pavements and public space outside the centre too. For major transport projects, I'd like us not to be afraid to think decades ahead.
I'm 24, and Karlovy Vary is a city I've had a long-standing bond with and where I want to live in the future too. In recent years I've worked at the Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and the Chamber of Deputies, and I've seen up close how public administration and politics work.
