sport

For me, sport isn't just about the score or the steps completed on your watch. It's mainly about a healthy mind, fitness and community. Sport teaches discipline and perseverance – values that work on the pitch and in everyday life. I want our town to offer space where you can really live and move. No needless paperwork or empty promises. My goal is accessible playgrounds and workout zones on the housing estates, safe conditions for all generations and fair support for clubs that put in the hard work with young people. It's not about telling anyone how to spend their time, but about creating good facilities for it. Supporting sport isn't spending money – it's a boost for a healthier future for all of us.

02

housing

For me, housing isn't a luxury, but a basic need. I know very well myself how hard it is for young people today to find an affordable and decent place to live. If we want people to stay in our town and start families here, we have to start doing something about it. I don't want empty promises and complicated bureaucracy that only needlessly slows down the construction of new housing. My goal is to speed up building permits, support the construction of starter flats and make efficient use of town property and dilapidated spaces. The town should create opportunities and act as a fair partner for affordable housing. Affordable housing isn't just about m2 and rent. It's about a sense of security and having somewhere to build your future. I want a town where everyone has a chance to really live well.

03

young people

Young people aren't just the future of our town, they're its present. I don't want everyone to run away from here after school because they can't find opportunities here. I want a town that makes use of young people's energy, supports them and gives them a reason to stay here. No lecturing or deciding about us without us. My goal is to create an environment where young people enjoy living, having fun and working. That means support for starter projects, space for culture and informal meetups, modern public places and fair conditions for kick-starting a career and becoming independent. The town should be a partner that doesn't put obstacles in your way, but gives space to your ideas. Young people bring drive and new perspectives – and it's time to give them a chance to really show it and help shape the place where we live.

A few words about me

I'm a native of Ostrov and I really love our town. I'm currently studying at the Faculty of Economics and Administration in Pardubice, where I focus on economics and public administration. I most like to spend my free time doing sport and travelling the world. Getting to know new places and different cultures hugely broadens your horizons, but I still like coming back home most – here to Ostrov. Thanks to travelling and my studies, I can see how things can work efficiently and how much can be done better. I don't want to just idly watch from a distance or complain about what doesn't work. That's why I decided to run. I want to use my knowledge and energy to make Ostrov an even more beautiful, modern and lively place to live. My goal is a town that doesn't put obstacles in people's way, gives space to young people, supports community life and creates great conditions for all generations. Ostrov has huge potential and I want to help make full use of it.
