Getting more affordable housing moving

More and more people are coming to Pardubice to study and work. Young people from Pardubice don't want to move out of the city either, and housing is unfortunately becoming a bigger and bigger problem. Too few new flats are being built, their prices are rising and they're becoming unaffordable. I want to change that. Give more support to construction, prepare new development areas and use the potential of brownfields. The city shouldn't be a brake on construction, but rather an active partner that prepares the infrastructure, sets the rules and helps more flats get built.

A lively Pardubice

I want every city investment in public space to include blue-green infrastructure – trees with enough room for their roots, permeable surfaces, use of rainwater and shading of footpaths. This will help us retain more water in the city and protect it from overheating.

A few words about me

After graduating in political science, I started working in construction. I currently work as a sales representative and I'm in daily contact with people from the industry. You could say I'm on building sites every day. At the same time, I'm from a generation that can't afford its own home unless it gets a significant financial injection, for example from its parents. I'm sorry that the vast majority of my peers have a similar problem, and that's why I decided to go into politics. I believe we can find a way to fill empty flats, revive brownfields and in doing so help people get more affordable housing.
