A few words about me
I come from a small village in South Moravia. Since I was little I've been used to having nature just around the corner and walking everywhere. Then I lived in Denmark for three years, where I studied design and ran a non-profit organisation focused on sustainability and circularity in clothing textiles. There I found out that clean air, safe streets and a good life for everyone don't have to be either a small-village utopia or a foreign concept from abroad.
I'm a designer by training, and that taught me to untangle complex problems, which the city is full of. What does that mean? I understand what makes a street a good street, a square a lively square and a city a good place to live. As coordinator of the startup community at JIC, I help people in Brno get new ideas off the ground. I also work on the concept of temporary interventions in public space, which show how to make the city more liveable without big projects. I also co-founded the Pitch your (single) friend event in Brno.
