As a lifelong artist, besides the big events in our town, which by the way are great for the town's development, I'd support more underground projects, e.g. author readings, alternative musicians, artists unknown and untouched by the world, etc. Vysoké Mýto is very rich culturally, but there are certainly lots of things that can be improved, such as more support for local artists or community events.
The older generations often look down on us young people, often with arguments like we don't have much experience. Young people then lose the motivation to deal with anything in the town. I'd like to serve as an example for young people that they shouldn't be afraid to take an interest in politics, and I'd like to invite them, and the older generations along with them, to discuss things with each other. With PATRIOTI pro VM, we're also advocates of starter flats for young people, which will help increase the town's population.
I'll be running in the local elections as a freshly minted eighteen-year-old, because I think young people should have their voice among the older generations – after all, we're part of society too. And probably also because I've been sticking my nose into social and political topics since I was little :) I'm an artist body and soul – I play lots of instruments, take photos and write (most often poetry). But I also write for the school newspaper, which I also run. It was with the newspaper that I organised student elections at our school. I also take part in various conferences, discussions and debates on behalf of the school. I took part in an international secondary school moot court and in the Yoda mentoring programme. Outside school and the above, apart from making music I also like listening to it (I grew up on metal, but I love getting lost in any kind of underground), I expertly taste the coffee in every café I come across, I'm a proud and loud feminist and I like discussing and debating everything possible and impossible with everyone. With my mates, we even organised a demonstration in support of the President, which was quite a big success :))
