Running for AKCE Holešovských Občanů

Main topics

01

budget and finances

In Holešov we're currently struggling with high levels of borrowing and a huge increase in operating expenses. I propose cutting operating expenses while keeping the town's services for residents at the highest possible level. I also propose continuing to invest and draw on subsidies, especially for projects with a social, financial or other return.

02

housing

I propose continuing the preparations and then building municipal apartment buildings, intended also for starter flats for young people and young families with regulated rent. At the same time, I also propose lowering property tax.

03

sport

I propose building a multi-purpose sports hall near the athletics stadium and revitalising the whole area. At the same time, I propose building local playgrounds and sports grounds, for example around housing estates, such as multi-purpose courts for five-a-side football or basketball, ping-pong tables, pétanque courts or outdoor fitness areas for seniors. I also propose setting up financial support for clubs with talented young people representing Holešov at supra-regional, national or international level. And I propose setting up individual support for families who can't afford the costs of their children's sport in sports clubs. I'd also like to introduce lockers with various sports equipment to borrow at municipal sports grounds.

A few words about me

I currently work as a coach for children and young people. In particular, I lead the Czech youth national team as head coach, and I also work as head coach of the Youth Sports Centre. Besides that, this term I serve as a councillor of Holešov and a member of the Finance Committee of the Holešov town council. I study at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences of ČVUT in Prague, where so far I've successfully completed a bachelor's in nuclear engineering specialising in the applied physics of ionising radiation. Holešov is a great town to live in, but because of the arrogance and condescension of the current town leadership it can't fulfil its potential. I want to give the town new energy, put the town's finances back on a healthy footing and avert the bankruptcy of the town coffers. I want Holešov to once again be a pleasant town where residents will be respected and treated with dignity and respect. A town isn't made by politicians but by its residents, and I'm running so that the voice of the residents is properly heard again.
