Running for Piráti a Fakt Brno TU!

Main topics

01

public space

Public space is what we see of the city every day. Litter in the streets, graffitied bus stops or a jumble of adverts can spoil an otherwise nice place. I want a Brno that looks after its streets continuously and doesn't let them gradually get overgrown with visual and actual mess. That includes faster cleaning and repairs, quality street furniture, but also clearer rules for advertising and limits on visual smog. Because a beautiful city isn't created only by new buildings. It starts with what the streets we walk along every day look like.

02

culture

Brno has a strong independent scene — small clubs, bands, artists and creatives who give the city its character. I want Brno to offer them space and not put obstacles in their way. Instead of falling into disrepair, unused municipal buildings can serve as studios, rehearsal rooms or shared workshops. Culture mustn't end in the city centre. I want more neighbourhood events, concerts and community life in the individual city districts too. Because a city shouldn't just be the place where you live.

03

young people

Brno is a student city and young people are a big part of what gives it energy. I want their role not to end with studying and student life. When they have a good idea, want to launch their own project or change something in their neighbourhood, the city should give them room and help turn things into reality. A city for young people is best made together.

A few words about me

I work in marketing and every day I'm in a creative environment where new ideas come about. I mainly work on campaigns for young people, schools and teachers, and I enjoy being there for everything from the first idea to the final execution. That's exactly why I'm used to not only coming up with things, but above all seeing them through.

I love Brno for its energy, culture and the many people who are always creating and starting something here. I'm running because I want the city to give them room and at the same time take good care of the places where we live every day.
