Developing self-build housing

Over the last 10 years, an average of 5 family houses and 10 housing units a year have been built in the municipality, most of them developer projects. More turnkey projects are in preparation, but residents lack options to build their own homes. There's simply nowhere to do it, and demand is high. Our goal is to support development areas so that people can build even in the cheapest way. Part of that is the necessary expansion of the WWTP, which I consider a key project for the municipality's development.

In Bučovice this urban axis is divided by the E50 through road, and with rising temperatures the square is becoming inhospitable in the summer months. Once the state-planned bypass is completed, I want the town to already be prepared to redesign its main public space so that it serves people above all, using e.g. a “shared zone” and new greenery to increase user comfort.

Sports hall

Already as a youth player I missed a proper big hall in the municipality, and I'd like to see it built. A concept design already exists. However, the project needs to be approached pragmatically, as the municipality faces more fundamental investments. That's why my goal and wish is to secure enough funding for the municipality so that the hall itself gets its turn too. At the same time, options other than the current design need to be examined, so that, for example, the hall doesn't take space away from the baseball field and is an optimal compromise for everyone.

Hi, I'm Vojta and I work as a construction manager on the Dornych project in Brno. I'm a trained architect and civil engineer. The first with a focus on urban planning, the second on economics and management. So naturally I'm close to little houses, and I'd like to focus mainly on them on the council too.
