Main topics

01

schools and education

In education, I'd like to support high-quality, modern education and the meaningful use of school premises even as the number of children gradually changes. It's also important to me to create good conditions for teachers, support extracurricular activities and connect schools with life in Rajhrad. As someone who works at a primary school, I'd like to bring above all experience from everyday practice to this area.

02

public space

I want public space in Rajhrad to be pleasant and easy to use for everyday life. I'd focus on the gradual improvement and maintenance of public spaces, more greenery and the creation of places where people can stop, rest or meet. Improving conditions for pedestrians and cyclists and connecting cycle paths in a meaningful way are also important to me. In developing the town, I'd like to make sure Rajhrad keeps its character and remains a pleasant place to live.

03

culture

I'd like cultural life in Rajhrad to be more varied, and for people of all generations to find their place in it. I'd like to support more events right in the town, for example concerts, an open-air summer cinema or reviving Children's Day. At the same time I'd like to make more use of the places we already have in Rajhrad and connect culture with local associations, schools and other organisations. I think it's precisely joint events that are a great opportunity for people in Rajhrad to meet and build a community.

A few words about me

I've lived in Rajhrad all my life, which is why I'd like to help make our town a good place to live for all generations. I work at the local primary school as a teaching assistant and at the same time I study Czech language teaching and special education at UPOL. Thanks to my studies and my work, the topic closest to me is above all schools and education. I'm a member of Mladí starostové a nezávislí, which gives me the chance to look at what's happening in our town from a different perspective too. I'm going into this candidacy keen to bring new ideas and to actively take part in the development of Rajhrad.
