Running for Vize pro Louny

Main topics

01

culture

We'll support a varied cultural programme in the centre of Louny all summer long – concerts, theatre, dance and outdoor events that will liven up public space, give people more ways to spend their free time and bring life to the town's streets. At the same time, we want to make more use of the potential of established cultural institutions such as Galerie Benedikta Rejta to attract visitors and tourists to Louny. We'll also give young people more room to get actively involved in creating and organising the town's cultural events and to come up with their own ideas.

02

jobs and business

Boosting tourism and cooperation with hoteliers and restaurateurs We'll create a clear tourist identity for Louny and a story that can attract more visitors to our town. We'll bring back regular guided tours of the town and actively cooperate with local hoteliers and restaurateurs. Together we want to look for further ways to develop tourism in Louny and coordinate specific measures that will turn visitors not just into day-trippers, but into guests who stay in our town longer.

A few words about me

I graduated from the local Gymnázium Václava Hlavatého and I'm currently studying political science and international relations at FSV UK. I also work as a data analyst.

With my candidacy I'd like to bring a breath of fresh air into Louny's municipal politics and create a platform through which people can realise their ideas and take an active part in developing our town. My experience so far also includes work on developing Louny's cooperation with our new twin town Susaki in Japan, above all on preparing and running student exchange stays. It's exactly this experience of connecting people, institutions and different perspectives that I'd like to use in municipal politics too.

Given my experience so far, I'd also like to act as a kind of bridge between the coalition and opposition parties, whose cooperation is often complicated by personal antipathies that have arisen from years of political coexistence. I believe the town can move forward above all when we manage to look for shared solutions across political parties.
