Main topics

01

transport

Královo Pole is developing, and transport has to develop with it. I consider it especially important to build a new grade-separated junction on Křižíkova, which would help connect Kociánka more smoothly and relieve traffic in this part of Královo Pole. Parking is also a big problem, especially around Palackého třída. That's why I'd push for changing selected parking zones from C to B

02

public space

What do New York, Stockholm and Královo Pole have in common? Smart bins. It may sound like a small thing, but it's exactly things like this that make a city more pleasant. Smart bins help keep the streets cleaner and at the same time make the work of city services easier. I'll be glad if they gradually spread to other parts of Královo Pole too, especially where there are lots of people, in parks or, say, at public transport stops.

03

football stadium

As a Zbrojovka Brno fan, I'd love Brno to finally get a proper football stadium. Unfortunately, the current stadium isn't enough for us. It's old, has a small capacity and can no longer offer fans the facilities we'd expect from a modern stadium. At the same time, the current location isn't ideal for the people who live around it either. On match days there are problems with parking, noise and the overall burden on the area. That's why I think the new stadium should be built in a different, more suitable place, where it won't intrude so much on local people's lives. Flita needs a new stadium. And so do Brno and the whole of South Moravia!

A few words about me

I'm 24, a born-and-bred Brno native, raised on the waters of the Svratka. I'm currently studying at Masaryk University, and in Královo Pole I'm serving my first term on the editorial board. I'm also active in the youth organisation Mladí konzervativci, where this year I became vice-chair and I also lead the South Moravian branch. I most like spending my free time travelling around the world with friends. And when there's nowhere to go, I like to go with them to one of Brno's good pubs, of which we fortunately still have plenty. My other hobbies include making various memes, mainly on the Výbor pro tradiční hodnoty profile, cooking, country music and of course football. I'll happily go to pretty much any match, but when Zbrojovka is playing, it's always a bit better.
