Main topics

01

Responsible investment and asset management

Chrudim needs a long-term, workable vision to guide its development. The town shouldn't just react to current problems and deal with them one by one, but should decide what we want it to look like in the future. That vision then needs to be followed by a concrete strategy and individual steps. Thanks to long-term, conceptual planning, we can make decisions that make sense.

02

public space

Public space belongs to everyone. Children, adults, pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. The town should make it possible for all these groups to move through it naturally and safely and to share its space. That's why we need to think about streets, squares, parks and other public places as a single whole. The concept should also include good surfaces, street furniture, greenery and the overall approach to the town's architecture. The goal is public space that is functional, pleasant and naturally serves people.

03

greenery

Heat and drought are becoming a normal part of life in the town. Chrudim must prepare for these changes and work with them right from the planning and redesign of individual parts of the town. Greenery isn't just an aesthetic addition – it helps cool the town, retain water and create a more pleasant environment to live in. We need to work conceptually with trees, parks, permeable surfaces and rainwater, and also look for ways to make better use of the river and its surroundings.

A few words about me

I was born in Chrudim and, apart from my studies, I've lived here all my life. I studied architecture, urbanism and pedagogy. Professionally, I work on repairs and reconstructions of castles and chateaux managed by Národní památkový ústav, where I'm gaining experience in how to care for historical heritage, but also how best to develop public space.

I've long been interested in architecture, urbanism and the quality of public space. I believe that my field of study and my experience in heritage conservation and public space planning can also benefit Chrudim's further development.

I want to help Chrudim make use of its great potential and be a pleasant place to live that keeps its unique character while being open to well-thought-out, high-quality changes.
