Running for Noví lidovci

Main topics

01

housing

My priority is fair and predictable management of municipal flats and converting part of the housing stock into flats for young people and young families with children. I also want to help develop an area where up to 7,000 people will find a home in the future.

02

sport

I want construction of a rugby pitch to begin in the coming term, creating a place not only for sport but also for meeting up.

03

transport

The construction of the Černovice transport terminal will be the biggest investment in the district, so it's essential to give the investor the necessary cooperation while also ensuring adequate protective measures, mainly regarding noise and safety.

A few words about me

I'm Dan Sedláček, I'm 21. I was born in Brno and I'm now studying at the Faculty of Law of MU here. Besides studying, I'm also an active member of Mladí lidovci in the South Moravian Region, an organisation that has more than 100 members in our region alone.

What brought me into local politics in this year's elections was the poor state of the district's leadership over the last few years, which shows not only in stagnation but also in frequent police interventions, criminal complaints and even fist fights between members of the council.

There are 5 women in the top 6 places on our list. Women from the fields of law, education or, for example, organ playing. Together we make up a well-coordinated team that can get the district back on the right track and bring it the vision and energy it needs to change things.

The candidate's texts have been machine-translated from Czech.
