My name is Anita Zieglerová, I'm 29 and I'm running in Olomouc. For most of my professional life I've moved between sport, day-to-day operations and working with people. I'm the operations manager of a fitness centre and, since 2024, also a councillor of the Olomouc Region. In regional politics I focus mainly on topics connected with young people and the sports environment, as a member of the Committee for Youth and Sport.
I'm very close to animals, which are a natural part of my life, and I care a lot about how we as a society treat them.
Travelling is also an important part of my life. I see it not only as a way to relax, but also as an opportunity to get inspired and see how society works elsewhere. My guilty pleasure is sacred buildings, where culture, history and the specific atmosphere of each place come together.
And it's precisely thanks to travelling that I realise again every time how exceptional Olomouc is for me. I consider it one of the most beautiful and best places to live, which is why it's the city where I've decided to put down roots. That makes it all the more important to me that it keeps developing and that people who sincerely care about it take part in improving it. That's also why I'll be glad if I can take part in the further development of our Haná metropolis.
